On December 26, 2024, SmartSchool Education Pvt. Ltd. carried out an inspiring CSR activity under its CSR initiative "Shiksa Setu." The activity was a drawing competition hosted at the Swaraj Vikas Foundation NGO in Karawal Nagar, Delhi. This NGO, located in South East Delhi, focuses on supporting underprivileged children aged 10 to 18 years. 

 

The event showcased the company’s commitment to nurturing young minds and fostering creativity in children through meaningful engagements.

The theme for the drawing competition was “Mother Nature,” designed to encourage children to reflect on the beauty and importance of the natural world. The competition began promptly at 2:00 PM, with around 40 enthusiastic children from the NGO. Before the event commenced, each child was asked to write their name and class on their drawing sheet to ensure proper identification.

 

The children had one hour to create their masterpieces, pouring their imagination and creativity onto the paper. The atmosphere was charged with excitement and concentration as they used vibrant colors to depict their interpretation of Mother Nature. From lush green forests to majestic mountains, the children’s drawings beautifully illustrated their love and respect for the environment.

At exactly 3:00 PM, the competition concluded, and all the drawings were collected. A three-member team from SmartSchool Education undertook the challenging task of evaluating the artwork. The judges assessed the drawings based on creativity, originality, and adherence to the theme. As the children eagerly awaited the results, the judges deliberated carefully for approximately 30 minutes.

Each winner received a certificate of achievement and a Puzzle Mania. This educational prize is a thoughtfully curated learning tool featuring infotainment games and puzzles designed to sharpen minds and enhance the learning skills of children. The other participants were not left empty-handed; they each received a certificate of participation, recognizing their effort and enthusiasm.

The event concluded with a joyful photo session, capturing the smiles of the children and the pride of the winners. The team from SmartSchool Education, along with the Trustee of the NGO, Mr. Narendra Singh Kataria, joined the children to commemorate the occasion. Mr. Kataria warmly welcomed the SmartSchool Education team, expressing gratitude for their thoughtful initiative and the positive impact it had on the children.

 

The day left an indelible mark on everyone present. The children’s creativity and enthusiasm highlighted the importance of providing platforms for expression and growth.
